        Phenoxyeethanol, for drug name, English name is phenoxyeethanol, Chinese name is also called phenoxyeethanol, phenoxyeethanol, etc., molecular formula is: C8H10O2, phenoxyeethanol is an organic synthesis, for colorless slightly viscous liquid, slight aroma, astringent taste. Soluble in water, can be mixed with acetone, ethanol and glycerin. Slightly soluble in water, is a common preservative in cosmetics, belongs to one of relatively safe preservatives, phenoxyethanol in cosmetics limited use of the highest concentration of 1%, solution of 0.1%-2% (including 10% ethanol)

Applications

 Ethylene glycol phenylene ether (KL-EPH) is a typical organic solvent with high boiling point, which has been widely used in Europe and America as early as the 1970s.  It is a slightly rose fragrance, low volatilization, high boiling point colorless transparent liquid, because it can and many organic solvents mismissibility, permeability, and isophorone (commonly known as 783), DBE, benzyl alcohol than the comprehensive performance of outstanding, can replace the use of full performance.  Kl-eph on acrylic resin, nitrocelluloses, ethyl cellulose, epoxy resin, alkyd Chemicalbook resin, phenoxy resin and other resins have excellent solubility, can be miscible with alcohol, ether, commonly known as "universal solvent". 

Used as a stationary liquid for gas chromatography can be used as water-based coating and ink film forming agent, fragrance stationary agent, ink fluid agent, antiseptic fungicide, electronic cleaning agent and ink slow drying agent, etc.
