Application Area

 

Its main derivatives are dibutyl phthalate, dioctyl ester and diisobutyl ester, etc., which are used as plasticizers for PVC.
It can also be used in the production of unsaturated polyester resin, alkyd resin, dyes and pigments, a variety of paints, food additives, laxative agent phenolphthalein in medicine, phosphorous imide in pesticides, chloroxone and saccharin sodium, etc.
