(ATMP) has good chelation, low limit inhibition and lattice distortion. Can prevent the formation of scale salts in water, especially the formation of calcium carbonate scale. Amino trimethylphosphonic acid has stable chemical properties in water and is not easily hydrolyzed. When the concentration in water is higher, it has a good corrosion inhibition effect.

ATMP is usually used together with other organophosphoric acid, polycarboxylic acid and salt to built all organic alkaline water treatment agent. ATMP can be used in many different circulating cool water system. The recommended dosage is 5-20mg/L. As corrosion inhibitor, The recommended dosage is 20-80mg/L.
There are two specifications of ATMP , solid and liquid. Owing to the C-P bond in its molecular, ATMP is chemical stable, hydrolyzing stable and thermostable. It shows good synergic effect and solving threshold effect while being compounded with zinc, copolymer. This product yet has excellent anticorroding performance even used with large dosage. It's nontoxic and nuisance free. Moreover, it has a good dispersing performance against scale of calcium carbonate.

- ATMP can decrease scale formation and inhibit corrosion of metal equipment and pipeline.
- ATMP can be used as chelating agent in woven and dyeing industries and as metal surface treatment agent.
