Isopropyl alcohol is colorless, transparent with ethanol odor and combustible liquid, soluble in water, alcohol, ether, etc. Can dissolve alcohol, ether, rubber, shellac and synthetic resin etc, with water form azeotrope, insoluble in salt solution, can fire burning room temperature.

Isopropyl alcohol is an important chemical product and raw material, mainly used in pharmaceutical, cosmetics, plastics, spices, coatings and electronic industry as a dehydrating agent and cleaning agent.
