point 137ºC.Dissolve in water . Mainly used as shellac varnish, cellulose acetate solvent.It is also used for preparing unsaturated
polyester resin, plasticizer, synthetic detergent, and also for fragrance, fragrance, cosmetics and other odor-sensitive products.

Application area
1) DPG is the most ideal solvent for many flavors and cosmetics.This material has excellent water, oil and hydrocarbon solubility,and has a mild odor, little irritation to the skin, and very low toxicity.Isomer distribution is uniform, excellent quality;
2) DPG can also be used as a coupling agent and moisturizer in a variety of cosmetic applications.In the field of perfume, the proportion of dipropylene glycol used is more than 50%.In other applications, dipropylene glycol is typically used within 10 percent (by weight).Some specific product applications include: hair lotion, skin lotion (cold cream, shower gel, body lotion and lotion) deodorant, face, hand and body skin care products, moisturizing skin care products and lipsticks;
3) DPG is also used in the production of unsaturated resin and saturated resin. The resin produced by it has superior softness,cracking resistance and weather resistance.The product has long - term yellow denaturation resistance.
4) DPG is used as cellulose acetate;Cellulose nitrate;Shellac varnish;Solvent for castor oil.It can also be used to make
plasticizer, fumigant, synthetic detergent, etc.
